So, I'm sitting in a computer lab at 12:50 at night, trying to finish up more job applications. This whole applying for jobs thing is absolutely no fun. But I did get to check out a couple flats this evening. One is nice but super tiny, in a fabulous neighborhood just north of Hyde Park. It's only about 2min. from 2 tube stations, and it seems to have all the neccessary conveniences nearby. I'm almost certain I'm going to take it, but I'm off to see a few more tomorrow. Now, the question is, do I want to be central and have a nice, small, flat, or do I want to be trendy and live out in east London? Ah, decisions. Going to bed now. Night.

Another gorgeous sunny day in London. And my luggage's been found! I think I'm in some bizarre alternate universe, but I'm not about to tempt fate. Off to orientation today, then going to fix my mobile, open a bank account and check out some flats. Thank goodness for the nice weather, since I don't actually have my umbrella or raincoat yet. But I will soon! Hooray!

So, I've actually made it to London...too bad I can't say the same for my suitcases. Sadness. Hopefully they'll come soon so I won't have to be that skank who wears the same outfit three days in a row. Sigh. But otherwise, everything is wonderful. It's sunny today! Craziness...but good, since I currently have no access to my raincoat or umbrella. Ok, off to explore the neighborhood and buy some phone cards.

Ok, so haven't left yet - just trying to get all my packing done in time. I can see how blocgging can get addictive. I will report back as soon as I have access to a computer in England. Woot.
