Yesterday (the day we normally would call Mardi Gras) was Pancake Day here in the UK, and I had some exceptionally tasty pancakes. This should become an American tradition, too. Along with the beads and the flashing and the rampant drunkenness. That is all.

it was free pancake day at IHOP. too bad work prevented me from attending. are you giving up chocolate again for lent this year?
are they actually called pancakes? i think they should be called flapjacks or flat-tortes or something.
I love you, IHOP. Yes Barb, they're actually called pancakes. No fun British names there. And yes, no more chocolate till Easter...sigh.
